Don’t move with the crowd, go out and explore on your own accord! Here are the top 3 destinations for Memorial Day 2011…
#3. Orlando, Florida: There’s more there than just Disney World
Orlando, the pulse of central Florida is booming with life. From a bevy of amusement parks and restaurants to a nightlife that can give Miami some serious competition, its a great refresher city.
#2. San Diego, California: A little bit of this and that.
Don’t expect the hustle and bustle of other major cities here, San Diego just a few hours north of LA, but this city holds its own. Go wine tasting there, then take a trip to the San Diego Zoo (you have to while you’re there) or stop by the Parker Museum and check out a new exhibit.
#1. Corpus Christi, Texas: Sun and fun…no, really it is!
Have a bonfire at Mustang Island State Park, drop in on the South Texas Botanical Gardens and Nature Center or relax along the beautiful shores of Padre Island National Seashore (the worlds largest remaining natural barrier island), it doesn’t matter, every where you turn there’s something new to explore.

Vote Micheal Vick for Madden cover here –> http://espn.go.com/sportsnation/feature/madden2012cover
Michael Vick has the chance this week to become the first NFL player to appear on the cover of the Madden video game franchise for the second time. And the Philadelphia Eagles quarterback said he’ll appreciate the honor more this time — if fans give him their vote.
Vick is one of two players – Cleveland Brownsrunning back Peyton Hillis is the other — left from 32 possible choices to grace the cover of Madden NFL 12. Fans have been voting on ESPN.com since March 21 to select the cover athlete in an NCAA tournament-type process. The winner will be announced Wednesday during “SportsNation” (ESPN2, 4 p.m. ET).

Today’s Trend Report will focus on this Season’s most important fashion accents… “Tassels”
While we may associate tassels with furniture trimmings and graduation caps, these slinky ornaments are swiftly becoming the “IT” piece to add to your wardrobe this Summer. Top designers like Gucci, Sonia Rykiel and Louis Vuitton have added these flirty, decorative embellishments to their S/S 2011 collection with Trendsetters like Blake Lively, Giovanna Battaglia and Gwyneth Paltrow bringing a playful energy to their wardrobe basics. What’s not to love about this new trend? Not only are tassels incredibly versatile, they can be worn as earrings, dangle from your favorite handbag or add spice by lacing up your shoes. And what’s even more exciting to us fashion lovers is that you can find them in array of exciting colors from neon hues to warm neutral tones making it easy to incorporate this trend into your everyday style. One thing I like most about this trend is that a little goes a long way! Even the smallest tassel on your shoes is usually what’s needed to give your look a visually intriguing finish. Another way to incorporate tassels into your look is with fun jewelry. Whether they are dangling from a necklace or hanging from your ears, a simple pop of color is eye catching making it a clear focal point on any outfit. Also Look out for neat belts with tassels to give your spring basics an updated look. It’s always fun trying new trends and I encourage all my readers to go and purchase this season’s “It” piece to add to your wardrobe where you too can be a trendsetter this Spring and Summer!

Greatest shooter in NBA History Ray Allen has been sporting the Celtics jersey since a child.
The competitive nature of two great players can elicit the dirtiest of maneuvers. With great respect and admiration for each other , there was always a cutthroat mentality when facing each other on the hardwood. This competitive nature has been eliminated to some degree in today’s NBA. There are harsh fines and penalties that are imposed on players that behave in an un sportsmanship like manner. These fines and penalties are set in place to control undesired behavior , this enables each player to channel their frustration towards basketball oppose to a boxing match.
