TREND REPORT BY JINA GG MURAYOSHI
Today’s Trend Report will focus on effortlessly achieving the Must-try Trend “Vibrant Lips”
As Fashion Junkies, We understand the recent rainbow-bright trends this spring can be a bit intimidating and over the top to many people. While banana yellow trousers and lemon-lime frocks may be suitable for fashion insiders and daring fashionista’s, not everyone is ready or willing to commit to so much color. For this very reason I was thrilled to share my favorite beauty trend that any woman can take and make it her very own with “Vibrant Lips”. This offers an effortlessly way to wear some of Spring’s high impact shades like Shocking Pink pouts and bright Coral lips as seen in Marc by Marc Jacobs and Diane Von Furstenberg’s S/S 2011 collection.
Dick Page the make-up guru used Shiseido’s Perfect Rouge Lipstick where he added orange pigment powder to make the color even more vibrant and fun resulting in a stunning look. James Kaliardos gave models a different look for DVF’s S/S collection by using fluorescent fuchsia while he too added a layer of MAC pigment in Magenta madness with neon pink powders with blue undertones making his looks One of a kind!
Runway iterations are always intriguing and exciting to try, Look at some items below that will help you accomplish an effortless “Vibrant Lip”
-Femme Rouge Velvet Crème Lipstick ($30)
-NARS lipstick ($24)
-Perfect Rouge Lipstick ($25)
-MAC lipstick ($14.50)
-Hourglass lipstick ($30)
