*HEALTH* CANNED FOODS A HUGE DETRIMENT TO HEALTH

Canned food is something that is very much a detriment to your health and not just because the food is basically nutritionless due to the high temperatures and pressures required during processing.

Possibly the most worrisome problem of all is that almost all brands of canned food, except for a very few organic ones, contain the endocrine disruptor bisphenol A, better known as BPA in the can lining.  BPA is a byproduct of the chemicals used to prevent can corrosion.

Why is BPA such a HUGE, HUGE problem, particularly for our children?

Because it causes massive hormone disruption with the serious problem of early puberty, ADHD, obesity, Type 2 diabetes, and the list goes on and on and on.

Think this problem is overblown?   Consider this.

Currently, as many as 10 in 100 white girls, 15 in 100 Hispanic girls, and 25 in 100 African American girls are experiencing breast development as early as 7 years old!  The earlier a girl goes into puberty, the higher her chances of breast cancer later in life.

*DAILY ESSENTIALS* – CHOICES – ESSENCE McDOWELL

Your choices have created your present circumstances
like a paintbrush creates an artwork. Think of each decision a brush
stroke and life as the canvas. You determine the results.  Consequences
do not have to be negative. The universal paradox is that if you choose
wisely, your days will be a beautiful reflection of those choices.

November 8th we reinvent the petition with the The Face Campaign. Instead of your signature we are asking for your face. FLOYD MAYWEATHER JR. EYES MAY 5TH 2012 BOUT WITH MANNY PACQUIAO

Floyd Mayweather Jr. does not plan on taking another 16-month vacation from the boxing ring, like he did after easily outpointing Shane Mosley in May 2010.

Instead, Mayweather, who knocked out Victor Ortiz on Sept. 17, will make a relatively hasty return: May 5 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, adviser Leonard Ellerbe told ESPN.com on Wednesday night.

Mayweather’s opponent has not been determined but Ellerbe said, “We’re looking to make the biggest fight possible and everyone knows what that fight is, the little fella.”

Ellerbe was, of course, referring to Manny Pacquiao. The welterweight champions and the top two pound-for-pound fighters in the world have been on a collision course for years. However, negotiations have fallen apart over drug testing protocol.

Pacquiao is set to fight Juan Manuel Marquez for the third time Nov. 12 at the MGM Grand and is a heavy favorite.
