This month’s theme surrounds the display of flowers and the importance they play in mood and emotion. Flowers can improve ones well being through smell and visual appearance. This event takes place at 7165 Germantown Lounge (North by Northwest) from 7pm-11pm.

This month’s Arts Beats & Eats is our “Black History Month Super Bowl Edition” come celebrate unsung African American Historians that contributed to African American History through the sport of football.

This month’s theme focused on the donation of shoes , members and attendees helped provide over 400 pairs of shoes for the Covenant House organization which is an organization that provides services to homeless and runaway youth. Taqiy Muhammad controlled the easel , creating classic paintings in a timely manner. Guest enjoyed various vendors across the city including Neo Daviso , DNTN Brand , NatrlBornHeartbrkers ( @TheNatrlBorns) , Vth Color Clothing Brand @VthcolorClothin) , Mijourne Jewelry , CovaaGurl Jewelry , Chai Tea Vintage , Ahmood Mirage , and Maryann’s~Daughter. Spoken word artist traveled from as far as Boston to perform , artist Royale L’radin and Maroon Mirage shared their passion on the main front performing multiple pieces.
Overall Arts , Beats and Eats continues to be a success thanks to our continuos supporters and new teammates Lauren Thilmen and Danielle Jeter. We look forward to February’s Arts Beats & Eats “Superbowl Sunday” Black History Edition 2.5.12.

We’ll kick off the month of January with a “Shoe Drive” , there will be reduced admission with the donation of shoes. The event takes place at the Towers at Wyncote (Primo Bacio Ristorante) 8460 Limekiln Pike from 7pm-11pm.

Each month our network of artist , entrepreneurs and young professionals assemble to network and contribute to various causes thats conducive not only to their career but the community as well. This Arts Beats & Eats was dedicated to driving in school supplies for children in need of financial assistance in making their school year easier. Under a warm atmosphere of good music , art , vending and good people our organization along with our supporters made that happen. Together we collected loads of school supplies to help children for the academic school year.
Each month I am thrilled to organize and attend Arts , Beats & Eats regardless if I see the same faces , these are the faces that continuously support our mission towards change and development. Each 1st sunday of the month we share ideas , laughs and crafts at Primo Bacio Ristorante. We look forward to the month of October where we will dedicate our energy towards “Breast Cancer Awareness”.

Another amazing turnout presented the by the cities aspiring young professionals. In the far corner of the North West section of Philadelphia young professionals , entrepreneurs and artist assemble for community service and networking. Over the past year lasting relationships has been developed. These relationships help assist individuals in their desired career towards professionalism. This month’s Arts Beats & Eats theme focused on literature . Guest donated old literature and received new literature that they found interesting.
Among the fine network was the enjoyment of comedy by Keith Johnson , fine wine and food , Live Art by Ibn Anderson. Guest also enjoyed an exciting NBA Finals game by the Miami Heat & Dallas Mavericks.
Arts Beats & Eats is organized each first sunday of the month located at Primo Bacio Ristorante (8460 Limekiln Pike) in the Wyncote Towers. The event is held from 7pm-11pm and features live art , spoken word , vending and complimentary wine and buffet.
6.5.11 – ARTS BEATS & EATS “BOOK DRIVE/LITERATURE SWAP”
Arts Beats & Eats is a monthly community service networking mixer. Each first sunday of the month Shaheed Rucker (@Change_makers) Curran Swint (@Curran_j , Kingsruletogether.com) and Gianni Lee (@Giannilee , babyloncartel.com) plan , organizes and promotes this event for young professionals and entrepreneurs to build and grow personally and professionally. Monthly themes surrounds education , health initiatives and community service. Community service events include school supply , toy , clothing and food drives ; Health Initiatives includes the education and awareness of various health ills that destroys the community such as HIV/AIDS , Breast Cancer , Mental , Emotional and Physical Health.
This event is organized every first sunday of each month. Arts Beats & Eats features different local vendors and artist that vends and display their latest projects. Complimentary buffet and wine is served for guest as they socialize within their desired careers and future endeavors while listening to fine music and spoken word.
This month’s theme is “Book Drive / Literature swap” individuals can donate , trade and collect literature.
Arts Beats & Eats will be held June 5th 2k11 at Primo Bacio Ristorante (8460 Limekiln Pike ) Towers at Wyncote. 7pm-11pm.

This month’s sub theme was “Toy Drive” for the holiday season. Changemakers Organization collected over 300 toy’s for children that reside at the Wordsworth Academy (www.wordsworth.org). Wordsworth provides high-quality human services to children and adolescents who have special learning, social adjustment, dependency or behavioral health needs.
